We both got new phones in the same
week so we need to talk about them. Void hadn’t upgraded his
phone in 4 and a half years, so it was definitely time! Beej, on
the other hand, likes new shinies and technology and upgrades
This week was all about the Geekery
Catch-Up. Since Beej went out of the country a few weeks ago, we
had to record two episodes the week before, and he had internet
issues the week after. So there was a good amount of time there for
geekery to accumulate.
We started Geek to Geek because we really want there to be a safe, welcoming, positive geek community. The most important part of geekdom is the people. We want to get together and talk about what it's like to be responsible adults with jobs and families while still making time for the things we love. We want to make friends and, most importantly, make sure that everyone feels appreciated and that there's a place for them. So whether your love is video games, comic books, movies, TV, fitness, knitting, woodworking, whatever...come geek out with us.
We don't do toxic, and we don't do nerdrage. Our views on geekdom are positive and optimistic.
Tightly focused discussions on specific topics drive the show. Striving to illustrate that it is entirely possible to be mega-geeks and lead happy adult lives, we want to be your friend and create an open and positive geek community for everyone.
Wanna be friends?
